Public Comments Invited – Notice of Funding Availability

The San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) invites public comments on the draft FY-27-01 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) Guidelines for Affordable Housing and Permanent Supportive Housing.

The draft guidelines outline the proposed funding requirements, application procedures, and evaluation and scoring criteria. SDHC is seeking stakeholder feedback before finalizing the guidelines.

Developer Stakeholder Virtual Meeting

SDHC will host a second non-mandatory Developer Stakeholder Virtual Meeting on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time, to discuss the proposed guidelines and respond to questions.

Public Comment Deadline

Written comments regarding the proposed requirements and evaluation and scoring criteria must be received before 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

All timely comments will be reviewed and considered in developing the final guidelines. SDHC reserves the discretion to determine which recommendations will be incorporated, consistent with applicable requirements.

The final FY-27-01 NOFA Guidelines will be published following completion of the public comment review process and any necessary approvals. Please refer to the submission instructions below to provide written comments.
